Tzedek Council is raising $13,500 to build a
community structure at the nation’s first Tiny House Village for youth ages
18-23 experiencing homelessness. We are asking for donations to fund the cost of building this outdoor gathering space.
Our partner Youth Spirit Artworks (YSA) identified the number-one obstacle impacting youth artists in their program as being lack of stable and affordable
housing in the Bay Area. Their response is to design and build a Tiny House Village on city property in Oakland. This spring 26 youth will be living at the newly completed village and would
benefit from this community space to gather outside safely.
