Book of Remembrance

It is customary at Temple Sinai to honor the memory of departed loved ones in a "Book of Remembrance," which is distributed at the afternoon Yizkor service on Yom Kippur.

Names already listed in one of Temple Sinai's perpetual memorial walls—the Tree of Life in Stern Hall, or the Wall of Remembrance in the Sanctuary—are always listed in the Book of Remembrance.

If your loved one's name is not on one of these perpetual memorials, we ask that you make a new request each year in order for the name of your departed loved one(s) to be listed in the Book of Remembrance.

The deadline to submit names for this year's Book of Remembrance was Tuesday, October 1, 2019. Thank you.

A contribution of $20 per listing is suggested.
