We are honored that you have chosen to celebrate the High Holy Days with Washington Hebrew Congregation.
On Rosh HaShanah day, we have a wonderful tradition of reading the names of babies who have come into the lives of our Temple families during the past year (September 15, 2023-October 2, 2024).
On Yom Kippur day, we take the opportunity to honor the Jewish tradition of celebrating a second (or first!) b’nei mitzvah when a person turns 83 (between September 25, 2023-October 12, 2024). Those whose names are submitted are invited to read the Torah Blessing aliyah with us during our morning Intergenerational Services on Yom Kippur.
