Holding Together - Fall 2024

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Many of us feel scared and anxious as we anticipate the 2024 presidential election. We see toxic polarization and fragmentation nearly everywhere we look. How will we cope with the tension and resist being part of the cycle of polarization and division? Join Rabbi Rachel Schmelkin to discover what Judaism can teach us about navigating division and coming together across differences.

This course runs from October 21 - November 25 and meets on Monday nights from 7:00-9:00 pm at Washington Hebrew Congregation (3935 Macomb Street NW, Washington, DC 20016). Each session includes dinner and drinks from some of the area's best restaurants.

Please contact Marsha Humphries if you have any questions regarding registration for this course.
