HBTogether Hybrid Book Club: Wednesdays, Monthly 11:00 am
Join us in the Max Enkin Library at Holy Blossom Temple or on Zoom. We discuss a different title each month; newcomers are always welcome even if you haven’t read the book.
For further information please contact Caroline Ingvaldsen at
library@holyblossom.org
Daily L'Chaim, Jews, News and Schmooze: Monday-Thursday on Zoom 5:15-5:55 pm
Led by Jack Kugelmass, raise a glass or teacup with fellow congregants over Zoom. Join in an informal conversation about Jewish life and times in Israel and the Jewish diaspora. Every day, we explore new topics and resources in the broader Jewish community- featuring short files and discussions about everything from Leonard Cohen or the Jewish Women's Archive to the Jews of China.
Bereavement Discussion Group: Tuesdays on Zoom 6:30-7:30 pm
Immediately following our 6:00 PM evening service on zoom, Jack Kugelmass, MSW will provide a supportive environment to find a new insight into the meaning of their losses.
Whether a loved one died recently or long ago, we hope you will take comfort in this opportunity to find meaning and motivation in memory.
You are welcome to "drop-in" occasionally or attend regularly.
Suicide Loss Survivors: Led by Lise Sklar and Abigail Nemzer
This group is for anyone who has lost someone to suicide. It is a safe place to share memories, stories and experiences with others who have been there.
Ukulele Group at the Temple: Sundays, 10:30-11:30 am
Led by Susan Baskin, the HBT Ukulele Group welcomes everyone- but given that we have been together for several years, people do need to have experience playing the ukulele to keep up.
*New* Knifty Knitters at the Temple: Sundays, 10:30-11:30 am
Would you like to learn how to knit or sharpen your knitting skills? Anne Dublin will offer three consecutive sessions in January to Holy Blossom members, after which the group will meet bi-monthly. If you haven't picked up knitting needles for a long time or want to learn the basics, this is your perfect opportunity! Whether you'd like to knit a baby sweater for our new Little Blossoms, or send toques to Israel for the IDF, we can match your skill level to the project. Some needles, yarn and patterns will be available upon request.
*New Addition* Workshop for Writers & Aspiring Writers
Draft & Grow:
One Monday evening per month, 7:00-8:30 pm, alternating in person at the Temple and on Zoom
Whether you are in the process of writing or even just contemplating writing fiction, non-fiction or a dissertation, meet monthly with your Holy Blossom peer writers to share writing challenges, writing ideas and pitches.
You will also have the opportunity to jump start your creativity by writing together to a variety of prompts and sharing your responses.
The focus of this group is to provide positive and supportive feedback!
This group will be facilitated by published authors Sharon Neiss Arbess and Maxanne Ezer.
*New Addition* The Village: HBT's New Parent Circle - For parent's with babies up to 18 months old: Mondays, Bi-Monthly, starting March 2, 2026 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, Holy Blossom Temple Atrium
Looking for a relaxed way to get out of the house and connect with other parents on parental leave? This casual group meets in a bright open space at Holy Blossom and is all about you and your baby. We’ll gather to chat, play, share experiences, and support each other. The group will naturally evolve based on what the parents who join want and need. Come as you are, babies and all, and help shape a community that works for you.
If you are interested in leading or joining a group for parents of trans-gender and non-binary OR, you have an idea for another kind of group. Please contact Marni at
